On the occasion of World Architecture Day, the Girona Branch of the College of Architects of Catalonia with the collaboration of the Rafael Masó Foundation feaure in Girona the exhibition "50 Years of the College of Architects of Catalonia (COAC)". This exhibition is a unique opportunity to see a selection of projects by architects linked to the regions of Girona, as well as drawings of works from other places in Catalonia, through which part of the history of the architecture of the our country from the middle of the 19th century to the present day.

The exhibition includes the original drawings of twenty architects, including Francesc de Paula i Vilar, Camil Oliveras, Rafael Masó, Pelayo Martínez, Josep Claret and RCR Arquitectes, awarded the Pritzker Prize in 2017. This documentation emphasizes the main task of architects, beyond academic movements or styles, in formalizing society's needs through architecture. In this way, the exhibition gives maximum prominence both to the outline of the drawings and to their authors, regardless of the cultural influences of each era.
