The selection, of a hundred documents out of a total of more than 4,700, includes everything from large drawings to small notepads with sketches. Maso's architectural and decorative projects, in addition to plans and technical drawings, often contain drawings and paintings of great quality. They are in themselves true examples of his aesthetic evolution from Art Nouveau to Noucentisme and his commitment to modernity.

The exhibition and the catalog want to reaffirm the place that Masó must occupy in the panorama of modern architecture in Catalonia, defending the artistic quality of the architect's work and his contribution to the visual culture of Catalonia.

This exhibition is also designed to publicize Masó's works that are still unpublished or little known and, therefore, will contribute to giving a more complete view and projecting his legacy throughout the country and outside of Catalonia. So it will be a tour of his architectural work, with drawings for his best-known buildings, as well as his work as an illustrator and interior decorator.
