The Contemporary Dialogues with Casa Masó series periodically invites a living artist to exhibit his or her work in the spaces of the noble floor of Casa Masó, establishing a dialogue between Noucentisme and contemporary art. In this case, the invited artist is Vicenç Huedo, who presents a series of paintings devoted to the houses along the river under the title “Houses of the Onyar in Counter-Mirror.”

Various museums and exhibition halls in Girona are hosting simultaneous tribute exhibitions to Vicenç Huedo, offering a journey through his long career as a painter and draughtsman, closely linked to the city of Girona for several decades. The different exhibitions can be visited during the winter and spring at the Casa de Cultura, the Fita Foundation, the La Mercè Cultural Centre, the Valvi Foundation, the College of Architects of Catalonia, the Girona Museum of Art, the Girona Museum of History, and Casa Masó.

From the 29th onwards, to visit Vicenç Huedo’s painting exhibition it will be necessary to purchase a ticket to visit Casa Masó, as the works are displayed along the route of the guided tours of the house museum.
