The meeting brings together house museums from all over the world dedicated to modern architecture to learn about the examples in the Dutch city.
Casa Masó is one of the eighty house museums and architecture studios from around the world that this upcoming weekend are participating in the City Icons symposium in Amsterdam, organized by the Iconic Houses network, of which Casa Masó has been part of since of 2013. The symposium has been structured around a series of lectures and visits to museum houses and prominent buildings of modern and contemporary architecture in the Dutch city.
Tours include the Museum of the Canals, the museum devoted to the Amsterdam School Het Schip, the Museum De Dageraad, the Van Eesteren House Museum, The Skyscraper, the Tetterode Building, the Zomerdijkstraat artist studios, and icons of the new urban planning and the new Dutch architecture such as the Valley, Jonas, and Sluishuis, among others.
