Verges runs a micro-funding campaign to complete Masó's stained glass for the town's church

The project aims to carry out the realization of the stained glass window dedicated to Saint Peter that Masó designed a hundred years ago.

A micro-patronage campaign has been launched from Verges in order to realize the stained glass window dedicated to Saint Peter that Rafael Masó designed for the church of this town in the Baix Empordà between 1924 and 1925. From Masó's original cardboard, which is exhibited at Casa Masó, the project aims to complete the work of Masó coinciding with the centenary of his reform of the church, in 2025.

Together with the stained glass of the Holy Trinity that decorates the rose window of the church, these constitute the only two stained glass works with a religious theme that Masó designed, but unfortunately the one dedicated to Saint Peter could not be made in 1925.

To help make the stained glass a reality, you can make a donation through the bank account of the parish of Verges that has been opened to finance the project: ES18 2100 8114 1821 0030 3853.

When making the deposit you must specify "Stained glass donation". If necessary, a tax certificate can be requested.
