The conference will take place at Torre Bellesguard Gaudí in Barcelona on October 9th.
The Torre Bellesguard Gaudí in Barcelona will host the 5th Santiago Alcolea Conference of Iconic Houses of Catalonia, an annual gathering aimed at heritage and culture professionals, which this year will focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its uses in the field of house museums, museums, heritage, and cultural management. The Conference will take place on Thursday, October 9, throughout the morning, and registration is open and free for everyone. At the end of the Conference, all participants will be able to join a guided tour of the Torre Bellesguard Gaudí.
In 2025, the chosen theme is AI applied to culture, with two keynote lectures by Patrícia Ventura, PhD in Media, Communication and Culture and expert in artificial intelligence, ethics and communication; and Jaume Benet, Professor of Audiovisual Communication and Coordinator of Technological Innovation at the Blanquerna School of Communication (URL), along with a session dedicated to the presentation of tools and digital solutions by various specialized companies.

The Conference is free and open to everyone, both members and non-members of the association, but prior registration is required through the form available on the Iconic Houses of Catalonia website.
