The President of the Executive Committee of the Rafael Masó Foundation, Joaquim Ayats, and the President of Project GRETA (Group for the Recovery and Study of Architectural Tradition), architect Roger Biosca, have signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of contributing to the promotion and awareness of Casa Masó among GRETA's board members and associates, as well as of the broader architectural and cultural work of Rafael Masó, contemporary architecture and urban planning, and the architectural heritage of the city and the country.
This agreement is based on the shared commitment of both institutions to collaborate and to enhance the organization and dissemination of joint events, the exchange of information, and the promotion of their respective cultural activities, as well as to encourage the use of the cultural heritage resources made available by the Rafael Masó Foundation to GRETA's board members and associates.
The present agreement regulates collaboration between GRETA and the Rafael Masó Foundation in order to promote and foster cooperation in the research and dissemination of the work of architect Rafael Masó, extending it to include early 20th-century Noucentista architecture in the Girona area, as well as heritage and contemporary urban planning.
GRETA is an association established in September 2015 with the aim of raising public awareness and sensitivity regarding traditional architectural heritage. To this end, it organizes courses, publishes materials, and offers guidance and advisory services to professionals in construction, restoration and rehabilitation, as well as to public and private property owners.
