One through his writings and the other through his paintings and drawings, Josep Pla and Joan B. Coromina offer a privileged look at people and landscapes of the Empordà and Girona a hundred years ago, two visions that complement each other as their friendship did. The exhibition presents a selection from the collection of more than 270 works by Coromina acquired by the Rafael Masó Foundation in 2015 and 2017, most of which are exhibited for the first time, compared to texts by Josep Pla about the painter and the themes that appear in his work.
