When we look at the façade, it is obvious that the building is the result of the union of four houses, which the Masó Valentí family gradually acquired between the mid-19th and early 20th centuries. The façade acquired its current appearance thanks to the renovations undertaken by Rafael Masó between 1911 and 1919, during the time in which the buildings were joined together and the interior was also renovated. The most prominent element is the bow window on the third floor. On the ground floor, his father ran the Masó Printing Press, where the Diario de Gerona de avisos y noticias newspaper was published and printed between 1889 and 1936. The wide balcony on the first floor was always a great spot to watch the festivities and parades taking place along the Ballesteries Street.
