Santiago Masó (1878-1960), being the eldest of the Masó Valentí brothers, inherited the family house upon the death of his parents. He was awarded a doctorate in Law in 1903 and he had an outstanding career as a lawyer and politician. In 1918 his brother Rafael designed the furniture for his office. Casa Masó’s library is a rich and diverse sample of the literary, political and professional interests of the family.
